SAT Services Enable U.S. Cyber Command to Accurately Pinpoint the Location of RF Interference Sources Worldwide
SAN DIEGO, Sept. 18, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Kratos Defense & Security Solutions, Inc. (Nasdaq:KTOS), a leading National Security Solutions provider, announced today that its SAT Corporation subsidiary has been awarded a contract by the United States Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) to provide worldwide Radio Frequency (RF) interference geolocation services. The award is valued at $13.2 million if all options are exercised.
Under the terms of the contract, SAT will provide U.S. Cyber Command (USCYBERCOM) with SAT's QoS RF Monitoring and Interference Detection and Geolocation Services for monitoring and geolocating commercial satellite interference.
