James T. Savage Joins Wireless Facilities, Inc.
SAN DIEGO, CA, November 9, 2004- Wireless Facilities, Inc. (NASDAQ: WFII), a global leader in the design, deployment, and management of wireless communication networks and security systems, announced today that it has hired James T. "Jim" Savage. Savage joins the company in the role of Senior Vice President of Corporate Development in the Technical Resources Sector of the Company's Government Services division. In this role, Jim will be responsible for leveraging the company's experience in RF engineering and wireless network design, deployment and management into the growing areas of telecommunications, information technology and Homeland Security applications. Jim will be based out of WFI's Hawaii office, where he will oversee Pacific Rim/Western Regional business development activities.
Jim has more than thirty five years experience serving in both government and private sector roles. He has worked for twenty two years for the federal government, working primarily with the U.S. Department of Defense. He has also worked in senior positions for NAVSEA's Surface Combatant Vertical Launching System, a one billion dollar program. Jim has worked in private industry as Senior Vice President for CACI Technologies, Inc.

The Government Services division of WFI has had an office in Hawaii since 1996 under the name of High Technology Solutions (HTS), which was acquired by WFI as a wholly-owned subsidiary earlier this year. WFI's office provides support to the U.S. Navy's Pacific Missile Range Facility in Kauai, as well as supporting the Marine Corp Base Hawaii (K-Bay), the U.S. Coast Guard, and Command Forces Pacific Fleet.
