WFI Awarded Network Optimization Contract Valued at Approximately $10 Million From Major Wireless Carrier in Europe
SAN DIEGO, Sept 01, 2005 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/ -- Wireless Facilities, Inc. (WFI) (Nasdaq: WFII), a global leader in the design, deployment and management of wireless communication networks, technology networks and security systems, announced today that it has been awarded a network services contract valued at approximately $10 million to provide 2G and 3G network optimization for a major wireless carrier in Europe. The contract, an expansion of services already being provided to this carrier, will be extended for another one-year term during which time the estimated potential value of $10 million is expected to be realized. Further terms of the award were not disclosed.
