WFI Signs Strategic Agreement With Comtest Wireless to Provide Wireless Network Services in Italy and Surrounding Countries
SAN DIEGO, Aug 10, 2005 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/ -- Wireless Facilities, Inc. (WFI) (Nasdaq: WFII), a global leader in the design, deployment, and management of wireless communication networks, technology networks and security systems, announced today an agreement with Comtest Wireless Srl (CW) to provide wireless network and engineering services for various clients throughout Italy and surrounding countries. The agreement has an initial term period of one year and includes mutual cooperation in providing end-to-end network and telecom consulting services.
Under the terms of the agreement, WFI will provide project management, including RF engineering and optimization, deployment and installation and commissioning services for multiple projects. CW will provide a research and development team of engineers and state of the art test and measurement equipment. Parties will jointly participate on general marketing activities. Further terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
