SAN DIEGO, Dec. 8, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Kratos Defense & Security Solutions, Inc. (Nasdaq:KTOS), a leading National Security Solutions provider, announced today it has been awarded a contract to maintain a sophisticated security system and network at a critical infrastructure site in the United States. The base period of the security system services contract award is three years, plus two additional three-year option periods, bringing the total potential term of the contract to nine years, assuming both options are exercised. The
potential value of this contract to Kratos, including both option periods, is several million dollars. The security system that Kratos will be maintaining is at a certain United States Federal Government location. Due to certain specific customer related and other sensitivities, no additional information will be provided.
