SAN DIEGO, March 29, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Kratos Defense & Security Solutions, Inc. (Nasdaq:KTOS), a leading National Security Solutions provider, announced today that it was on the SAIC winning team to provide Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence (C4I) support for systems integration engineering, planning and implementation of components and networks for Navy, joint, national and foreign military C4I systems.
Kratos will provide support services to the Command and Intelligence Systems Division of the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Pacific (SSC Pacific) in the areas of: C4I systems engineering, C4I system integration and operational support, C4I software applications and databases, and C4I test and evaluation, independent verification/validation, and software support activity engineering. This three-year contract includes a two-year option which, if exercised, would bring the potential value of this contract to $22.5 million.
