WFI Awarded Subcontract for Consolidated Acquisition and Professional Services (CAPS) Valued At Approximately $10 Million
SAN DIEGO, June 19, 2006 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX News Network/ -- WFI (Nasdaq: WFII), a global leader in the design, deployment, and management of wireless communication networks, information technology solutions and security systems, announced today it has been awarded the Consolidated Acquisition and Professional Services (CAPS) subcontract as part of The CENTECH GROUP, Inc.'s Small Business Team. CAPS will provide Advisory and Assistance Services for the Aeronautical Systems Center, located at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base (WPAAFB), in Ohio. WFI estimates the award to have a total potential value of approximately $10 million over a five-year period of performance, assuming all option periods are exercised.
Under the terms of this award, WFI will perform tasks in key functional areas to support the mission of Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, including acquisition logistics, financial management, cost estimating and schedule analysis. WFI will provide subject matter experts to support key tasks in the contract, including engineering services, acquisition management, test and evaluation, and configuration and data management.
