SAN DIEGO, CA, November 4, 2004- Wireless Facilities, Inc. (NASDAQ: WFII), a global leader in the design, deployment, and management of wireless communication networks and security systems, announced today that it has been awarded a contract from a major national wireless carrier to enhance the customer's wireless network in the Southern California area. The project, valued at $10 million dollars, will take place over a two year period.

WFI has worked hard to demonstrate to this customer that we can provide the quality and expertise necessary to support large network projects for major carriers such as this one. Building trust based on our service quality is what makes WFI the leading provider of network design, deployment and management, and we look forward to expanding our relationship with this top carrier."
